It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the Mundus maris Awards contest for celebrating World Oceans Day 2017, on 8 June.
We invite original and creative written and audiovisual artistic pieces about the ocean. Stories and films are welcome from all over the world.

From 27 to 29 January the green carpet was rolled out in the CinemaxX in Berlin, the German capital, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Green Me Film Festival. This year's motto was Climate, Joy, Air. Berlin's mayor, Michael Müller (right), served as patron and attended the opening.
We visited two communities, Oke Ira Nla and Otodo Gbame all in Eti Osa Local Government Area of Lagos on 2 February 2017. Both are informal fishing communities with a majority of the men and women involved in fishing activities. The two communities are in the water front of Lagos Lagoon water body.
The Green Me Filmfestival was founded in 2007 by Nicolai Niemann and Donald Houwer. Nic Niemann became the managing director and festival president when Donald Houwer left the organisation in 2012. His wife, Nkiru Niemann, is a graduate of theatre arts and experienced in the international circuit. She is the Director International Affairs & Production
